Magic Drops of Colour.

IMG_5391 I could have written a blog about cupcake making, but we all know how to make a cake? (I hope!), I could have written a blog about playdough, but there seems to be quite a few great ones floating around already. What I do want to write about is the little magic drops of colour that make these activities and many more so much fun.

Plane Visit (3) Sometimes you are lucky enough to be given an opportunity to do something pretty cool. Last Sunday we went to the airport to look inside a small airplane. This for us was not so much luck as organisation as my husband flys the particular aircraft we went on. But to our friends who wanted to have a look inside or even pretend to fly it was a good opportunity.

Rigatoni – Spinach and Cheese filled with kids.

Rig collage We got out all of the vegies left in the fridge – Sweet potato, carrot, celery, tomato, capsicums and spinich. We chopped these up and simmered in a pot to make a vegie sauce. We browned some mince, added it to the pot. Once this was all cooked we divided the mix in to two pots. One for spicy mexican meat for that night and one to make into a pasta sauce for the next night

The Galah Next Door.

Ahhhhhhhhh. Inconsiderate people…..when did the world change that made it okay for people to do what they like when they like without any consideration for those around them. Spontaneity and Imagination.

Here comes the bride and Flower Boy. Play is such an important part of a child’s development. You need only look at a documentary of children raised in Romanian orphanages to see what would happen without it. Kids are happy to play with just about anything from kitchen pots and pans to shop bought toys. They sing, dance, dress up and sometimes this happens with the most unusual things.

Rizoleey = Riley + Zoe
I loved writing a diary for both of my children during their first year, I also made them a wonderful scrapbook of photos. Since my son turned 1 I needed a new avenue to express my creativity - Blogging combines my love of scrapbooking, kids activities, photography and writing.
I hope you enjoy taking a peek at our lives.
